What We Do
Our team members and volunteers visit areas where the commercial sex industry is happening. We bring cookies and uplifting notes and get to know the people who work in these locations.
Why We Do It
While not all individuals working in this industry are victims, around 70% are. We strive to make women feel valued and empowered. Through the relationships we build, women learn that we’re here to help if they’re in trouble.
A Proactive Approach
We aim to end exploitation before it starts. By being present in women’s lives, we can often prevent the types of vulnerabilities that lead to trafficking.
Joining an Outreach Team
Discuss fit.
First, we’ll chat to see if this opportunity is the best fit for you. There are lots of ways to get involved, including baking cookies and writing notes.
Complete training.
You’ll go through a comprehensive training program that equips you to effectively reach and care for women in trafficking situations.
Go on an outreach visit.
For your first visit, you’ll join a small team to partner with and observe other people who have done this before.
Join a team.
Based on your location and availability, you’ll be assigned to a team. Each group goes on one outreach visit per month.
